Been having sleepless nights these days. Does taking too much sleeping pills cause side effects?
I have sleep problems due to anorexia, but I've found that the more water I drink throughout the day, the easier it is to sleep. Sometimes music helps, sometimes it just distracts. Boring books help. Basically, just do your best to make your body feel relaxed.

Well, im going to a school field trip for a few days with my grade and i have severe insomnia. I get a sleep anxiety and get very anxious when i can't sleep in different environments. There wont be any tvs or lights during the night so i donno what to do! I usually read a book or watch tv. you cant bring ipods either so no music! What do i do? Please Please help!
I don't know how old you are, but please talk to your parents about this and maybe see your doctor.

Hopefully, you will be able to sleep on the trip. I know how hard it is to sleep in different environments. It has ruined many trips for me. But I am now well-managed with meds and supplements.
You can also talk to your school nurse about your insomnia. I think it is just the way we are made up chemically, or it could be our body's reaction to stress, or a malfunctioning hypothalamus. A doctor should be able to help you. I should have gone to one a lot sooner than I did with my sleep disorder. People who sleep normally don't understand how hard this is for us who can't sleep. I fully understand your problem.
